  • 062606: Planner Moleskine

I have been excited about moleskine introducing a new planner line. I grabbed this right away when I saw it in Books A Million (BAM) in Columbus, MS. The first day in the planner was June 26th, 2006 which is the day that I purchased it. OMG.

  • 062706: Black Bikini

This is my first swimsuit in years. I spent forever in Old Navy with no success. Went to Walmart and this fell into my lap. So easy. It made up for my 45 minutes of pain in Old Navy earlier that day.

  • 062806: Haircut and Eyebrow Wax

Received my pre-wedding hair trim and eyebrow wax. I fell asleep in the chair. I always do that.

  • 062206: covergirl eyeshadow

The seaglass shade collection. Light green, dirty yellow and brown.

  • 062306: eyeshadow brush

I have never bought a special makeup application apparatus before and I really don't know if it will make a difference.

  • 062406: fashion tights

These are a light cream color. I think they will work with my dress. I also bought a tan color as well.

  • 062506: apple barrel paint

I actually bought five of these. They were onsale for 40 cents a bottle. These are the big bottles too. Score! I love painting with cheap craft paint.

  • 061906: nail polish

I took a late night walmart spin and ended up with some useless shit. Black fingernail polish isn't exactly useless, seeing that it is on my fingernails as I type this and it replaced a bottle of it that I had lost a few weeks ago. Doubtful the black is going to make it to my wedding day. Love My Nails is the worst brand of nail polish (only tied with wet n' wild), but at 99 cents a bottle I don't feel bad buying it.

  • 062006: Vivid White Toothpaste

Time to get those choppers bright and shiny. Uh, I have about a week to get that done. Don't really know if this four dollar tube of toothpaste will get that done, but this chick is going to try.

  • 062106: Second try at the wedding shoes

I ordered these off of zappos.com today. I started second guessing the yellow pair. If these don't work I can send them back for free. Thank you zappos.com!

  • 061506: corrugated paper

I bought two large rolls of corrugated paper (pink and orange) at Sullivan's Office Supply downtown. Each roll was $4.00 and I think they had been sitting on the shelf for about 15 years.

  • 061606: fan

HOT! We needed another fan for the house and I am planning on bringing this into my office next week because my air conditioner is broken and still, hot air just isn't cutting it for me. This is just like our old one which we bought two years ago when we first moved here.

  • 061706: Basil

It is official. There is no place in Starkville that sells fresh Basil. We picked up this Basil plant and now we have basil fresh from our kitchen window sill.

  • 061806: Nacho Libre Movie Ticket

Our new favorite thing to do is to watch the midnight showing of movies at our local movie theater. Why? 1. It is cheaper 2. There is hardly anyone there 3. It doesn't cost as much 4. nobody is around. and I liked this movie.

  • 060706: Pirates of Silicon Valley

This just came in the mail today. Cliff saw it when it first came out and I feel like I have seen bits of it. We are going to watch it soon.

  • 060806: cutter advanced

bugs like me. I don't like them. Mosquito season started by me looking down at my leg when I walked outside the other day and saw ELEVEN mosquitos feasting. ELEVEN! This seems to work so far.

  • 060906: Miller High Life

This is the first drawing of a miller high life that I have done since 2004. I used to draw them all of the time. Not so much anymore.

  • 061006: Three months per page calendar

I need to see multiple months at a time or I am lost. I bought this at Sullivan's Office Supply downtown. Does anybody have a problem spelling the word calendar or is it just me?

  • 061306: Paper Globes for the Wedding!

Kari and I are buying up paper globes/lanterns for the reception. I found 13 of them for a dollar each at our local dollar store. I cleaned them out of their paper globe/lantern inventory. They better restock because I am planning on buying more. The lanterns are blue, yellow, pink and white. I hope the next supply consists of some orange and green ones.

  • 061406: Acutal Workout Shorts

Bah! I lost scene points (because we all know about the raging scene that exists in starkville, mississippi) and bought a pair of navy blue, walmart, stretchy shorts for $6.93. No more cut off old man pants for me when I do tae bo. I will be cardio fat blasting with no style whatsoever. But I really couldn't give a crap...this fabric breathes!

  • 061106: Orajel

ouch. enough with the sore gums. This stuff comes in weird little discs that you place on the sore spot and all is supposed to be healed. I give it a 5/10 at this point.

  • 061206: Wedding Bands!

Mine has clifton's name engraved on the inside and his has my name engraved on the inside. Simple, flat and 14kt gold. I can't wait to marry him.

  • 060506: Elelments of Style

  • 060606: anthropologie wedding shoes

The yellow beauties will soon be mine. Ordered from anthropologie in a size 10 for 78.00 ( expensive for me, but I didn't pay anything for the dress so I felt a bit better about the cost). I looked all over the internets for a pair of shoes that would work with my wedding dress ( my mom's 1969 yellow chiffon dress that she wore to her engagement party). I think these are going to work. Still nervous about buying shoes online. We will see.

  • 060406: Clinique clarifying lotion

I have been using this specific product since I was 15 years old. My oldest and most trusted toiletry. One bottle of Clarifying Lotion #2 (combination skin) lasts me over a year. Purchased at Peebles department store which has the only Clinique counter in Starkville, Mississippi. $11.00

  • 060306: Mini Snack Raisins

We went to Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Saturday. Tuscaloosa has a Publix Grocery Store which is quickly becoming my favorite grocery store chain ever. We picked up some items that we normally can't get in Starkville. Don't get me wrong, we can get raisins in Starkville, but we can't get raisins that have a smile made out of raisins on the package. I am a sucker for design choices like this. I can't help it. This one box came in a pack of six.

  • 060206: arm ipod holder

I have an old ipod. I love my old ipod. Companies that make accessories for ipods do not like old ipods. A sewn, felt case that I made in a few minutes about two years ago has worked just fine as far as protecting it from scratches, but I really wanted something to keep it on my arm when I would walk or run or clean the house. So I bought this really ugly ipod holder. It was cheap and it was the only one that I could find that would hold my big, fat, old, AWESOME ipod. $7.99

  • 060106:phone charger

This is the second phone charger that I have purchased in two weeks. I left my main charger at my grandmother's house and my phone remained dead for a few days until I bought another one. And then I LOST that one (no. idea. where. it. could. be.) So I bought ANOTHER one. Not a fun purchase. I an NOT losing this one. ever. $14.00
